I've been creating mostly intimate scenes on this visit to the high country of Colorado for the wildflower bloom in order to obtain images that are different than my usual grand landscapes and macros or flower portraits. I was drawn to this mix of Rosy Paintbrush or Split-Leaf Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja rhexifolia) and Alpine Avens or Ross's Avens (Acomastylis rossii turbinata), and the angle-of-view with the 45mm Tilt/Shift lens worked best. I used the tilt motion to align the plane of focus through the blooms.
