It was mostly cloudy when I arrived at Bandon Beach yesterday morning, but I headed out onto the beach just in case the color got interesting, and boy did it ever! It was the best color I've ever had along the Oregon coast! The wet sand did a great job reflecting the color.

I made this image about an hour after sunrise. I was drawn to the s-shaped piece of seaweed (bull kelp), and I like the way the bank of clouds mirrors the wet sand.
