Bandon Beach is a favorite location for photographers due to the large number of sea stacks. The beach also has a very gentle slope and the tide continually cleans up the footsteps left by prior visitors and makes fantastic reflecting pools. This image was made from 5 exposures at 1.5-stop intervals to capture detail from the very bright sun to the dark shadows by the sea stacks that were combined by hand in Photoshop.
