Here's the first blog-worthy image taken with my new-to-me Canon EOS 7D. This coyote was hunting yesterday afternoon in some wonderful light and the extra reach provided by the 7D compared to the 1D X came in handy. I was quite surprised that the noise at ISO 200 was high enough that I had to perform some noise reduction. Earlier, I had taken test shots to compare ISO noise from the 7D to that of the 1D Mk IV, and the noise looked comparable. I'm rarely concerned by the noise of the 1D Mk IV at ISO 400 for real-world images.
