Snow at Bisti

Near the end of our stay at the Bisti Wilderness, we finally got some snow. We headed out towards the Egg Factory and stopped to photograph along the way. My favorite images that morning were of isolated boulders near the Egg Factory (above).

By the time we turned our attention to the Eggs at the Egg Factory, it was nearly noon. That's not quite as bad as it sounds because the sun was still rather low in the sky, but the snow had started to melt and the sun was casting shadows in all the wrong places. On our way back to the RV, it started snowing again and the wind blew it right into our faces.
