It was a snowy blustery day yesterday in Grand Teton National Park. I had only photographed a couple of landscape details in the morning and hadn't seen Notch the cross fox all day. Fortunately, I found this Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) shortly before I returned to my RV and was able to get some nice images. In this image, it's licking its nose after eating some snow.
