This Cross Fox, a variant of a Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes), is quite the celebrity in Grand Teton National Park, so I was very excited to have him to myself for about five minutes yesterday afternoon before other photographers arrived. As I was waiting for him to approach for this image, two park employees asked if I could see a notch in its right ear, and when I said "yes," they were excited to see "Notch" again. When he, the fox, practically walked right up to them, they said, "Hi, Notch. Good to see you again." Let me tell you, it was great to see him again and in such a fantastic setting!
