I've returned to one of my favorite landscape destinations, the Bisti Wilderness, a fantastic badlands in northwest New Mexico. I can't believe it's been almost three and a half years since I've been here. It was clear yesterday morning, so the best photography was before sunrise which is when I made this image. I've gone by these hoodoos on most of my previous visits, and the conditions were good yesterday for me to finally photograph them.
