American Pika Calling in the San Juan National Forest, Colorado

I had another great day yesterday in the high country around Silverton. In the afternoon, I explored two new areas that had been good on previous trips, and because it was so windy, I mostly photographed wildlife. In the image above, an American Pika is calling out.
