The Mittens in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, Arizona

Here's an image which is practically the view out the window of our RV from the campground in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park: The Mittens. I took this image yesterday afternoon while hoping to get the buttes and/or clouds to light up right around sunset. Unfortunately, a butte to the west casts an odd shadow on West Mitten (the closer butte in the image) at this time of year, so the shot with golden light didn't pan out. Then the fantastic color on the clouds at/after sunset was constrained to the western horizon. Oh well, that's how it goes most of the time with nature photography.
