We moved up to Jasper National Park yesterday and photographed Tangle Falls last night. In contrast to the long grueling hike to the hoodoos on Hoodoo Creek, Tangle Falls are only 15m (about 15 yds) from the road and there are plenty of compositions as the falls drop in four main stages with cascades in between. Evening is a great time to photograph them because after the sun sets behind a ridge on the other side of the valley and there's an hour or so to photograph the falls in the diffuse light before it gets too dark.
