Yesterday morning, I went to Sun Point to photograph the sunrise at St. Mary Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana. Sun Point is my favorite location to photograph at sunrise in the park because it's possible to photograph the sun rising in the east and also first light on the mountains to the west. I made some images of the clouds to the east after they turned a nice red/orange before the sun rose, then I turned to face the west and captured this image of Dusty Star Mountain at first light.
