Grizzly Bear in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

We photographed just one subject yesterday in Yellowstone National Park, but it sure was a good one. We came across the female from the pair we watched courting on May 29th and she was in a great location with great diffuse light. She even walked through the patch of yellow flowers that I had hoped a bear would walk through. My favorite image of our encounter is of her standing near the edge of the grassy bank with steam from a vent at Steamboat Point in the background.
