Waterbuck in Kruger National Park, South Africa

On our eighth full day in Kruger National Park, South Africa, we continued to explore the area around the Satara Rest Camp. Unusual sightings today included a male bushbuck and a common duiker, and they were just sightings — no photo ops. We did have an opportunity to photograph a female common waterbuck drinking and a really young hippo play-fighting with an older sibling. We also photographed our first white rhinos on this trip to Kruger. My favorite image of the day is of a common waterbuck buck. I just love their horns.
