Mt. Kerkeslin in Jasper National Park
Continuing a look back at our trip to Alaska in 2009 …
Mt. Kerkeslin and Horseshoe Lake
Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada
Canon EOS 1Ds Mk II, 24 TS, 2-stop soft grad ND, 1/4 sec, f11, ISO 100
Image taken on July 4, 2009.
The Canon 24 Tilt-Shift lens is great for this composition because the rocks in the foreground are only a couple of feet (about 60cm) away, and the tilt motion makes it possible to have the foreground and background in focus without stopping down too much.

Good example of how the tilt-Shift works! I too like how all the lines work in this shot. |
