One set of Common Loon (Gavia immer) chicks have hatched in Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park, British Columbia, and the adult brought them out to show us yesterday morning. The light was great when we arrived and I photographed this chick riding on its parent's back. The chicks were three and four days old. Enjoy!
