Helmeted Guineafowl Among Orange Wildflowers

The wildflowers were spectacular when I was in Namaqua National Park, South Africa, at the end of August. This Helmeted Guineafowl (Numida meleagris) posed nicely atop a small termite mound among the Namaqualand Daisies and Glossy-Eyed Mountain Daisies. Enjoy!
