I photographed this Pied Kingfisher (Ceryle rudis) drying off after a dive in Kruger National Park, South Africa, back in April.

I'm happy to report that the first stage of my replacement gear has arrived. In addition to the new items that I mentioned in the last blog post, I also purchased a like-new TS-E 90mm because it's a good sharp lens and I really like being able to use the tilt motion with it.
