Things really started to happen yesterday in Yellowstone National Park. I photographed a Grizzly Bear and a Black Bear, and saw my first Badger of the season. The highlight by far was photographing this Gray Wolf (Canis lupus), 926F, the alpha female of the Lamar Canyon Pack. I had followed her and her boyfriend as they made their way along the far side of the Lamar Valley towards their denning area and was in position when she crossed the road to get some nice images.
