There was a bright overcast yesterday morning in Valley Of Fire State Park, so I took the opportunity to explore an area that might be good for grand landscapes when the conditions are right. The diffuse light was great for photographing intimate landscapes. I was drawn to the creosote bushes trying to eke out a living on this narrow ledge because the ledge wasn't aligned with the layers of sandstone and created a nice swoosh.
