White-Crowned Sparrow in Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, Nevada

Jan and I had a great time yesterday exploring Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge for the first time. We saw lots of species including Great Blue Heron, American Coot, Mallard, Hooded Merganser, Green-Winged Teal, Northern Harrier, Red-Tailed Hawk, and American Kestrel. I also had my closest encounter with a Bald Eagle in the lower 48, but it was obscured by too many branches to get a good shot. My favorite image from the day is this one of a White-Crowned Sparrow.
