We returned to the Sol Duc area of Olympic National Park yesterday because I wanted to photograph this downed tree covered with moss some more. I discovered it on our first visit four days ago, but wasn't happy with the results that I got. I tried several variations and finally found a composition that I really liked. The key for me was getting the right shallow depth of field so that the one moss-covered branch was in focus and the in-focus branch fit nicely in the repeating pattern of branches. Enjoy!
