Snow Geese in Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, New Mexico

I returned to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge yesterday morning, and it was a chilly 16°F (-9°C) when I photographed these Snow Geese at dawn. There was a large flock of geese and lots of photographers off to my left, and I suspect both species sought comfort in numbers. I was the only photographer near the scattered Snow Geese on the right (or should that be "correct"?) side because I wanted to create images of small groups of distinct geese instead of the messy mass of the dense flock.
