Yesterday was a great day for Grizzly Bear photography in Glacier National Park. In the morning, I photographed a sow with a two-year-old cub in wonderful warm light. In the evening, I photographed two bears, probably four-year-old siblings, feeding together near the road. In the image above, the four-year-old's probably thinking, "I'm really close to those humans. I hope a ranger doesn't show up and make me leave because these berries are nice and ripe and the patch is really dense." Fortunately, a ranger didn't show up until after I was headed back to the car after it had gotten too dark for photography, and the bears and humans had had a great time living in close proximity to each other for about an hour.
