This image of a mother mountain gorilla of the Hirwa Group holding her 20-day-old twin babies was taken on our second of five days of gorilla trekking during my photo tour this past February. Gorillas rarely have twins, so this is a really special image. You may read more about that day's trek on the blog entry for February 22, 2011.
