We had a wonderful day yesterday in Yellowstone National Park. There was fresh snow on the ground in the morning and we found bison babies frolicking in the snow, a cooperative bluebird pair, a coyote hunting right by the road, some grizzly bears too far away to photograph, and our favorite grizzly bear up close!

Yes, this is another image of our favorite grizzly bear. She was in a much better location this time than two days ago (closer and practically at eye level) and the late light was fantastic! She's very laid back and comfortable having lots of photographers closer than the 100 yd (91m) boundary for visitors. While we were with her, she was within 25-35 yds (23-32m) of the road and was busy feeding. We left when it appeared that she want to cross the road but other people kept cutting her off. It's no fun to be around such a zoo.
