Athabasca Glacier in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada

Another image from our trip to Alaska in 2009 … On our way back from Alaska, we stopped in Jasper National Park for a few days and spent some time photographing the Athabasca Glacier which is part of the Columbia Icefield. My favorite images were details of the glacier face. I particularly liked the comma shape in this image.
