Red-Headed Agama Pair in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
The ninth day of my safari in Tanzania, and the second in the southern Serengeti, was another good day.On our way to a remote area of the park, we spotted an African wild cat. They are rare to see, and unfortunately it was still dark so we watched it for a while in our headlights. After the sun came up, we spent some time with two male cheetah, and one of them tried to chase down an African hare. Then we went by several dung beetles rolling balls of dung, and my clients enjoyed them as much as I did. Then we photographed a lone large lion cub, and our guide suspected that it had somehow become separated from its pride.

We had lunch after photographing a mother and approximately year-old cheetah cub and while waiting for them to do something after resting. Sure enough, first the cub, then the mother, went over to the small stream to drink, and I got some nice shots! :)
