I had a nice encounter with this Black Bear (Ursus americanus) second-year cub, and its sibling and mother, yesterday morning. They were right next to the road near eye level, and I photographed them from the Jeep. This cub is rather unique because it has patches of brownish fur, and its fur is uneven instead of being a nice smooth coat. Enjoy.
