By the evening of my fifth day photographing a Swift Fox (Vulpes velox) den in the Pawnee National Grassland, the kits had become quite comfortable with us around. In this image, the vixen is grooming one kit, a second kit is grooming the vixen, and a third is leaping in to interrupt the proceedings. Enjoy!
