Here's another image from two mornings ago taken with Jan Forseth's Canon EF 100 f2.8 Macro. (Thank you!) I had run out of daylight when I saw this Bristly Fiddleneck (Amsinckia tessellata, also known as Tessellate Fiddleneck, Checker Fiddleneck, and Devil's Lettuce) three days ago and was happy that conditions were good again to photograph it.
