I'm still having a ball photographing the loons on Lac Le Jeune. The adults are still feeding the chicks, but the nearly continuous feeding has stopped. Now the chicks are fed for a while and then there's "nap time." During one of those "nap times" yesterday morning, I went out to the male Common Loon (Gavia immer) who was swimming out to the center of the lake, and I love the wake he's making in the still water.
