We reached a milestone yesterday with the Swift Fox (Vulpes velox) vixen, or female, at the den we've been photographing when she nursed out in the open for the first time while we were there. It's so nice that she's getting used to us being nearby. We also discovered that there are five kits at the den, which is large for a typical litter.
