Here's something a little different for me, some wildlife in its environment. I find this kind of image much harder to make than a wildlife portrait or a wildlife action image because both the wildlife (the usual subject) and the environment (the usual background) must be interesting and work together. For a wildlife portrait or action image, the best backgrounds are those that mostly go unnoticed compared to the wildlife subject. And because one usually needs a much wider field of view to include the interesting background, the subject has to be closer so that a wider-angle lens can be used. I used a 90mm tilt/shift lens for this image to align the plane of focus roughly through the geese and the icebergs in the background to get as much of the scene in focus as possible as the geese swam by.
