I had another great day in Grand Teton National Park photographing winter scenes. This little stalk only stuck up above the snow about 4 in (10 cm), so I put a 1.4x tele-converter on my 70-200 to get some extra reach while getting the lowest vantage point that I could. The shallow depth of field was chosen to make the stalk stand out by blurring the background.
