Great Gray Owl in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

One of the great gray owl adults brought a red squirrel to the nest yesterday. It didn't feed the chicks and instead faced us and ate. The small image for this blog doesn't do the left forelimb of the red squirrel justice, so below is a 100% zoom of it. :) There's a little bit of motion blur, either because I was so excited due to the view through the camera or because the adult was moving, or a combination of the two. In either case, I wish I had kept the ISO higher to get a higher shutter speed.
