Mt. Sneffels (14,158 ft, 4315m) is the centerpiece of the Sneffels Range which has several 13,000 ft (3900m) mountains on either side. A dusting of snow in the fall is what makes the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado so spectacular for fall color.
