Yellow Aspens Reflected in the Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado

On this first day of winter, here's an image from this fall. While exploring the Silver Jack area of the Uncompahgre National Forest in September, I discovered Rowdy Lake. It's a quiet small lake surrounded by aspens intermixed with evergreens — a great combination. I made this image in the morning with a very light breeze that created a nice reflection and a thin cloud layer that provided some diffuse light.
