Sandstone Detail in Zion National Park, Utah

While waiting for the light to change for a composition with the pools in Zion National Park one morning, I explored the area and came across a fairly level patch of sandstone with sand and pebbles trapped in the crevices. After I finished with the pools, I turned my attention to the forms created by the sand and pebbles while they were still in the shade. I used a 90mm tilt/shift lens so I could align the plane of focus along the sandstone without having to look straight down.
