Lone Pine in Zion National Park, Utah

There's lots more to photograph in Zion National Park than the fall colors. The slick rock and sandstone formations covered with evergreen trees and bushes provide an almost endless number of compositions. Here, I captured a lone Ponderosa Pine tree atop a sandstone mound as the sun was rising above a nearby hill.
