I was surprised to see clouds when I headed out yesterday morning to return to Big Bear Creek to photograph the cascades because the forecast was for yet another morning with no clouds. Fortunately, I was out early enough to see some color starting to form on the clouds to the east and I had a little time to find a composition to photograph Wilson Peak (14,017 ft, 4272m) when the color developed on the clouds over the peak.
