We returned to Glacier National Park to check out Logan Pass shortly after they opened the road. It was one of the latest road openings ever because of the heavy snowfall this winter. The whole hillside behind the visitor center at Logan Pass was still covered by at least three feet of snow! There was a small area of exposed ground with some vegetation starting right next to the visitor center, and the Columbian ground squirrels were out feasting. I just love photographing the little guys, and one of them even went over to feed at the edge of a small puddle which created a nice reflection. :)
