On our fourth full day in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, we moved from Mata Mata back to Twee Rivieren. The day started off with a bang — we encountered three lions on the road not too far from camp in beautiful early-morning light. Unfortunately, lots of other vehicles were there too, and it took some jockeying to get into a good position to photograph the lions.
