Horseshoe Lake in Jasper National Park, Canada, is also the site of some of my other favorite compositions. If the water is completely still, there are some wonderful reflections of the rock cliffs that border the lake. Our visit in July 2009 was the first time that the water was still enough to get a good reflection since I had switched to digital capture, and I was thrilled to be able to make better images than I had back in the 35mm film days. Now that I've traded my 100-400 for a much sharper 70-200 2.8 IS II, I want to go back to get improved images yet again.

I know this spot and have a similar shot. This reflection is fascinating.
